Ingredients:
2 small bagels
1/2 cup fat free cream cheese
3 tablespoons chopped stuffed green olives
2 teaspoons olive brine
1 tablespoon snipped chives
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
2. Slice each bagel into 4 thin rounds and place on a baking sheet. Place in oven to toast until golden brown, about 10 minutes, turn once.
3. In the meantime, mix the cream cheese, olives, brine, and chives in a small bowl. Spread 1 tablespoon of cream cheese mixture onto each bagel crisp and serve warm.
Thinly sliced scallions is a nice alternative to chives.
Don't throw out those leftover bagels, slice them into this crunch appetizer.
