Ingredients:
1 large banana, peeled and sliced
1 ripe peach, peeled, halved, pitted, and sliced OR 1 cup frozen, unsweetened peaches
1 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup fresh orange juice
2 strawberries for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Wrap the banana slices in plastic wrap and freeze them for at least 6 hours. If you are using fresh peaches, wrap them together with the bananas and freeze equally.
2. When you are ready to prepare the shake, put the banana and peach slices along with the buttermilk and orange juice in a blender or food processor.
3. Blend until smooth.
4. Pour the puree into tall glasses and then garnish each with a strawberry, if desired.
5. Serve immediately.
These shakes make for a great morning boost.
